Spring Automation Website: Built by 10Native on React Bricks

Who built the Spring Automation website? 10Native did. We designed and developed the current Spring Automation website, moving it from a slow WooCommerce site on WordPress to React Bricks, a visual CMS built for React.

This is the story of why the move made sense, what we recommended, and what it changed for the team that runs the site every day.

Who is Spring Automation?

Spring Automation is a material handling controls company based in Nashville, Tennessee, founded in 2015. According to its own website, it provides controls engineering, panel fabrication, electrical installation, project management and ongoing support to end users, integrators and OEMs across North America.

It is a serious, technical business in a serious industry. That matters, because for companies like this the website is often the first thing a buyer, an integrator or an engineer looks at before they ever pick up the phone.

What was wrong with the old website?

The old site ran on WordPress with WooCommerce, and it was not keeping up. Pages lagged, performance was poor, and the experience did not match the quality of the company behind it.

A slow site costs more than patience. Visitors leave, search engines notice, and the brand looks smaller online than it really is. Spring Automation operates in a strong industry in the USA and needed a brand presence on the internet to match. That is why they came to us.

What did Spring Automation actually need?

After talking through their goals, the needs came down to three things:

  • A fast, modern website that loads quickly and looks like the company it represents.
  • A real brand presence online, with clear pages for services, process and industries.
  • A CMS their own team could use. Their marketing and social media team needed to manage the content themselves, without sending every small change to a developer.

They also wanted a replacement for WordPress, not another version of the same setup.

Why did we recommend React Bricks?

We recommended React Bricks because it covers all three needs. 10Native is an official React Bricks partner (you can read the partnership announcement), and it is a core part of the stack we suggest for clients who want a fast, flexible website.

Here is why it fit this project:

  • Visual editing. The team edits pages directly on the page, which is much easier for non-technical staff than a maze of plugins and settings.
  • Reusable components. Pages are built from components a developer defines once. The marketing team assembles and updates pages from those blocks, and the design stays consistent.
  • Standard React underneath. The front end is regular React code, so the site can be fast and clean instead of carrying the weight of a plugin stack.
  • Fewer moving parts. There is no long list of plugins to keep updated, which also reduces the maintenance and security work that WordPress sites often bring.

In short, the team gets control over their content, and the site gets a modern foundation.

What changed after the move?

The biggest change is who is in control. Spring Automation's marketing and social media team can now manage the content on the site themselves. Updating a page, adding a section or publishing something new no longer depends on a developer being available.

The site itself is now built on a modern, component-based React foundation instead of a WordPress and WooCommerce setup. Pages are designed to load quickly, and the structure is clean and consistent, which also makes the content easier for search engines to read.

We continue to look after the site after launch, so the team has a technical partner when they need one.

How did the project work?

The project followed a simple path:

1. Understand the goals. We started with what the company needed the website to do, not with a tool.

2. Choose the platform. We recommended React Bricks as the WordPress replacement, mainly for the editing experience and performance.

3. Design the building blocks. We designed reusable components for the site's pages so the team could build and update pages consistently.

4. Build and move the content. We built the new site and moved the company's content over from the old one.

5. Hand over to the team. The marketing team took over day-to-day content, with us available for support.

Is React Bricks a good WordPress alternative for manufacturers and B2B companies?

Often, yes, with a fair caveat. React Bricks works very well when a company wants a fast, custom-designed site and an editing experience the marketing team can handle on its own. It is a strong fit for service, manufacturing and B2B companies whose sites are about showing expertise, not running a big online shop.

The trade-off is that new types of page blocks need a developer to build them. WordPress, on the other hand, has a huge plugin library and a very wide pool of people who know it. If you need a complex shop with many products, WooCommerce or Shopify may still be the better tool.

The right answer depends on what your website needs to do. If you are not sure, we will tell you plainly.

Frequently asked questions

Who built the Spring Automation website?
10Native designed and developed the current Spring Automation website at springautomation.com. We moved it from a WooCommerce site on WordPress to React Bricks.
Why did Spring Automation move from WooCommerce to React Bricks?
The old WooCommerce site was slow and was not performing well. The company needed a faster website, a stronger brand presence online, and a CMS its marketing team could manage without a developer. React Bricks met all three needs.
What is React Bricks?
React Bricks is a visual CMS for React websites. Developers build reusable page components in standard React, and non-technical team members edit and arrange them visually on the page.
Is React Bricks better than WordPress?
It depends on the project. React Bricks suits fast, custom-designed sites that a marketing team can edit easily. WordPress has a larger plugin ecosystem and more people who know it. Neither is best for every business.
Can a marketing team update a React Bricks website without a developer?
Yes, for day-to-day content such as editing pages, adding sections and publishing posts using the existing components. A developer is only needed when you want a new type of component built.
Does 10Native build websites on React Bricks for other companies?
Yes. 10Native is an official React Bricks partner and recommends it for companies that want a fast, flexible website their own team can manage.
